hudson valley picnics

hudson valley picnics is my newest adventure. I have always dreamed of being an event planner + business owner. I spent 15 years as a teacher in highland, ny and charleston, sc which allowed me to stretch my creativity into the classroom; but the itch to be an event planner never left me. after returning home to the hudson valley I finally found myself as an event planner at a local ski resort (yay!). 

but then the pandemic hit, I was laid off from my dream job + my dreams were crushed. a year later while on vacation in cancun, I met jodie + tori, who own a luxury picnic company in cape cod called beach babe butlers  after one consultation, I knew that this was my chance to share my passion for event planning. 

I love the thought of giving people a place to unwind and escape the hustle + bustle. it's so important for us to slow down, and really enjoy the beauty of the hudson valley and warmth of good company + conversation.

I pulled my daughter, ashley in as she has the perfect background in marketing + an eye for aesthetics.
